作者简介：Dr. Pavel Rekant is a leading scientist-geologist from the Russian Geological Research Institute (VSEGEI). His present scientific activity is focused on geology, tectonics, and paleogeography of the eastern Arctic, including both deep-water basins as well East Arctic shelves. His expertise is in seismic stratigraphy, regional geology, and correlation. He has scientific experience in the Arctic for 29 years.
